2007 Vespa LX 150

150cc – ~13  hp  @ 7750 rpm – 225 lbs dry – 83.7 mph (GPS)

Pretty stock save for some vinyls thanks to City Signs, and a carb rejet. I’ve taken this “toy” up over the Emigrant Gap pass going from CA to NV. I know HD riders who haven’t even made that trip. Remind me to tell you the story about my HD buddy who did ride with me.

1966 Vespa Ciao

50cc – roughly 1 RabbitPower – light enough to lift  – Broken Speedo

I picked this one up off a buddy’s neighbor about 8 years ago. It ran when I got it (after a carb rebuild at least) but now I’ve broken it down to the bolts to sandblast, paint, rebuild and restore. It’s going to go to my own personal patron saint of motorcycling when it’s finished.

1996 BMW R 1100 GS

1085.00 cc – 80.00 hp @ 6750 rpm – 535.7 lbs wet

This is  a Mateel Expedition Series R1100 that isn’t being ridden up at my mom’s place.  It wants to take day trips and roll around in El Dorado Hills. It wants to purr down the coast to Cameron’s in Half Moon Bay. It calls me and tells me. It will join the Vesper and the Ciao. One day.
